Responsibilities

• Own projects from print to finished assembly across multiple shifts.
• Translate drawings and sketches and map dimensions, tolerances, operation order, and setup needs.
• Set up and align fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, and materials; improvise when needed.
• Regulate machining factors—speed, feed, coolant flow, depth or angle of cut—and adjust as required.
• Monitor operations to detect malfunctions or tolerance issues and adjust controls.
• Verify alignment and dimensions with precision instruments and perform first-article checks when needed.
