Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Set up and program various tools and equipment to machine parts.
• Study sample parts, blueprints, drawings, or engineering information to verify methods or sequences of operations.
• Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools or materials onto machines.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions to ensure machined parts meet quality specifications.
• Use measuring instruments or gauges to ensure conformity to specifications.
• Monitor machines and perform regular quality checks during production.
