Job summary

Accurate Personnel LLC is seeking a Senior CNC Setup & Applications Engineer in Elk Grove Village, IL. This hands-on role focuses on developing advanced CNC setup strategies for multi-axis milling, optimizing tooling, fixturing, and workholding to improve repeatability and first-pass yield in a high-mix environment.

The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on CNC setup experience, GD&T, blueprint reading, and strong problem-solving and collaboration skills to support new product

Qualifications

Hands-on CNC setup with tooling, fixturing, and manufacturing applications engineering.
Experience setting up 3-, 3+2-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC mills and basic lathe processes.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and improve CNC setup strategies for complex components.
Design tooling, fixturing, and workholding solutions for multi-axis milling.
Lead setup prove-outs and troubleshoot tooling, fixturing, and machining challenges.
Create setup sheets, tooling lists, and work instructions for production machinists.
Collaborate with programmers, machinists, engineering, and quality teams.
