Job summary

Enprotech, LLC is seeking a skilled CNC programmer to translate blueprints into precise toolpaths and program operations for CNC lathes and mills. The role involves developing and refining G-code, selecting appropriate tools, and setting up machines to ensure high-quality parts.

The candidate will troubleshoot issues, optimize programs for efficiency, and stay current with CNC technology and industry practices, collaborating with engineers and machinists to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Five years’ experience programming CNC lathes and/or mills.
• Blueprint reading is required with a high level of experience.
• Degree or certification or equivalent job experience.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Interpreting blueprints and designs to determine shape, dimensions and tolerances.
• Developing CNC programs by creating and modifying G-code and other languages.
• Choosing cutting tools, fixtures, and equipment based on material and geometry.
• Setting up and configuring CNC machines for jobs, including tool selection and clamping.
• Testing and troubleshooting to ensure programs run correctly and adjusting as needed.
• Staying current with advancements in CNC technology and tooling.
