Job summary
Elite Engineering & Manufacturing is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join our growing precision manufacturing team. You will read drawings, set up and program CNC mills, and model cutting paths with CAD/CAM software to produce parts to specification.
Responsibilities include selecting tooling, optimizing paths and settings for production, performing quality checks, and troubleshooting on the shop floor. Weekend/overtime availability is expected as needed.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of CNC programming and machining experience required.
- Experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Experience programming, setting up, and operating CNC mills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and problem solving.
- Willingness to work weekends and overtime as needed.
- Lifting up to 25 pounds when required.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Set up and program CNC mills to manufacture parts.
- Model toolpaths with CAD/CAM software and select tooling.
- Adjust cutting paths and settings to optimize production.
- Perform quality assurance checks on finished parts.
- Troubleshoot mechanical or logistical issues on the shop floor.
