Job summary

Elite Engineering & Manufacturing is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join our growing precision manufacturing team. You will read drawings, set up and program CNC mills, and model cutting paths with CAD/CAM software to produce parts to specification.

Responsibilities include selecting tooling, optimizing paths and settings for production, performing quality checks, and troubleshooting on the shop floor. Weekend/overtime availability is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CNC programming and machining experience required.
• Experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience programming, setting up, and operating CNC mills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and problem solving.
• Willingness to work weekends and overtime as needed.
• Lifting up to 25 pounds when required.

Role Description

The CNC Programmer will read and interpret technical drawings, then set up and program CNC mills to machine parts to specification. Using CAD/CAM software, this person will model cutting paths and translate blueprints into working programs, selecting the right tooling for each material and adjusting cutting paths and settings to optimize production without sacrificing quality. The role also includes performing quality assurance checks to confirm finished parts meet design specifications, and troubleshooting mechanical or logistical issues as they come up on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in CNC programming and machining is required
• Previous experience in a manufacturing setting
• Experience programming, setting up, and operating CNC mills
• Skilled at interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
