3-Dimensional Services Group in Lapeer, Michigan is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to develop and optimize programs for 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machines, including mill-turn equipment. The role requires interpreting blueprints, CAD models, and customer specifications to ensure precision parts production.

The successful candidate will set up and operate CNC machines, monitor performance, and perform routine maintenance.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; additional CNC operation training is a plus.
5–7 years of CNC programming experience required.
Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

Create, implement, and refine CNC programs for 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machines and mill-turn equipment.
Set up and operate CNC machines for drilling, grinding, milling, and turning.
Interpret drawings and specs to determine machine settings and adjustments.
Monitor operations and adjust for out-of-tolerance conditions and downtime reduction.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of CNC machines to ensure reliability.
Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to optimize processes.
Inspect finished parts for quality against specifications and maintain records of job activities.
Maintain accurate records of machine settings, adjustments, and maintenance performed.
