Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience programming CNC machines.
• Must be able to read blueprints.
• Must have good mathematical skills.
• Proficient in Inventor or other CAD/CAM system.
• Proficient in Mastercam.

Responsibilities

• Reviews customer RFQ's, drawings and documentation to determine material requirements, cutting tools and fixtures.
• Consolidates costs for machining and finishing to create detailed quote packages.
• Plans machining by studying work orders, drawings, plans, and GD&T.
• Programs CNC mills and lathes, creates setup sheets, designs fixtures and tools.
• Programs and runs CNC equipment using Mastercam X5 and ProCam.
• Collaborates with managers and machinists to improve processes and quoting accuracy.
• Inspects parts and adjusts layouts for accuracy and efficiency.
