Job summary

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of CNC programming experience.
Ability to read blueprints and GD&T.
Strong math skills essential.
Proficiency with Inventor or CAD/CAM systems.
Mastercam experience required (X5).

Responsibilities

Review RFQs and specs to determine material needs, tools, fixtures, and routing.
Create quotes by consolidating costs for machining and finishing.
Plan and schedule parts to meet customer requests.
Program CNC mills and lathes; create set-up sheets and fixtures.
Order cutting tools and support productivity improvements.
Program and run CNC with Mastercam X5 and ProCam.
Collaborate with management and machinists to improve processes.
Plan machining from drawings and GD&T; study orders and materials.
Use ERP to track job costs and bid trends.
Inspect parts and adjust layouts as needed.
Run diagnostics and troubleshoot tools.
Maintain OSHA safety procedures and logs.
Document production and quality actions.
Adhere to Safety, Quality, and Environmental processes.
