Qualifications

• 5+ years of CNC programming and machining experience.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Proficient in G-code and CAD/CAM software, Mastercam preferred.

Responsibilities

• Program CNC mills, lathes, routers, and table cutting equipment using Mastercam.
• Interpret blueprints, CAD models, GD&T to develop machining strategies.
• Optimize feeds, speeds, tooling, workholding, and setups for quality and cycle time.
• Create and validate CNC programs, setup sheets, and tooling docs.
• Support machine setup and prove-out of new or revised programs.
• Troubleshoot machining issues to minimize downtime and maintain production flow.
• Monitor machine performance and validate program accuracy.
• Review engineering drawings and manufacturability.
• Collaborate with Engineering on process improvements.
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections with precision tools.
• Develop SOPs and tooling/fixturing improvements.
