Job summary

Republic DFW is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to develop, optimize, and maintain CNC programs for precision machining. The role requires strong programming experience, knowledge of tooling and processes, and collaboration with machinists, engineers, and quality teams to improve production results.

The ideal candidate will read engineering drawings, select tools, and optimize cycles while maintaining accuracy and repeatability in diverse manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years CNC programming experience required.
• Proficiency with G-code/M-code and Fanuc-style controls.
• Ability to read blueprints, GD&T, and engineering models.

Responsibilities

• Create CNC programs for 3-, 4-, and 5-axis mills and lathes as needed.
• Interpret drawings, tolerances, GD&T, and specifications.
• Select tools, define toolpaths, speeds, feeds, and offsets.
• Build and maintain post processors, libraries, and documentation.
• Verify and optimize programs using simulations and shop-floor testing.
• Collaborate with machinists to troubleshoot cycle times, quality, tooling, and issues.
• Support continuous improvement, production efficiency, and manufacturing quality.
