Job summary

Greene, Tweed seeks an experienced CNC programmer to design and optimize programs for 3-5 axis milling centers and CNC lathes, using Mastercam and GD&T. You will design fixtures/tools, support manufacturing floor activities, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities include mentoring junior programmers, collaborating with suppliers on tooling, and ensuring on-time, high-quality part production in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; engineering/technical degree preferred.
• 8 years of CNC programming experience.
• Proficient with Mastercam and G-code for 4- to 5-axis machines.
• Ability to interpret complex drawings with GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Create CNC programs for 3-5 axis mills and lathes.
• Design fixtures and cutting tools as needed.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing floor and for DFM meetings.
• Lead Lean/Six Sigma and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor and lead programmers.
