Job summary

Greene, Tweed seeks a skilled CNC Programmer to write, edit, and test multi-axis CNC programs, applying ISO standards and ensuring parts meet customer specifications.

You will collaborate with machinists, design fixtures and tooling, review drawings and RFQs, and maintain an accurate CNC program database while pursuing continuous improvement. This on-site role offers opportunities to advance in a multinational manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of CNC lathe and mill experience; multi-axis lathe and 5-axis mill preferred.
• Intermediate knowledge of CAD and CAM systems or prior CNC programming experience.
• Experience with Fanuc and Mitsubishi controls and G-code.
• Strong print reading and GD&T ability.
• Detail oriented with multitasking under time constraints.
• Strong mathematical skills and ability to visualize part from print to final.

Responsibilities

• Create CNC machining programs and setup documentation to fabricate parts per drawings.
• Collaborate with machinists to troubleshoot and adjust controls and tool settings.
• Design custom tooling and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
• Review drawings and RFQs to develop accurate machining routings and times.
• Maintain and update CNC programs ensuring revisions are current per ISO standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects to maximize throughput and reduce defects.
