General Plastics Manufacturing Company in Tacoma is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer/Machinist to join our aerospace-focused team. The role requires mastery in Mastercam, setup and programming on 3-, 4-, and 5-axis Haas and CMS machines, with a track record of meeting tight customer timelines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years setting up 3, 4, and 5 axis machines.
• Minimum 5 years programming with Mastercam.
• Experienced with Haas and Fanuc controls.
• Excellent mechanical aptitude.
• GD&T per ASME Y14.5M-1994 or later.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Excellent print reading and interpreting GD&T.
• Experience machining plastics or composites preferred.

Responsibilities

• Write Mastercam programs for fixtures, jigs, and tools.
• Operate machines with minimal direction.
• Edit CNC programs at machine or via CAM programming.
• Work with 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machines.
• Review engineering instructions and tooling quality.
• Collaborate with CNC team members.
• Assist with setup and precision hand tools.
• Meet deadlines and customer timelines.
• Must have aerospace components experience.
