Job summary

Dauch is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist and Programmer in Royal Oak, MI. Independently program, setup, and operate a cell of 2-3 CNC machines, read Engineering Drawings, and plan tooling and process order of operations for finish goods.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and at least five years of CNC experience with lathe/Mazatrol/IGF and/or MasterCAM, blueprints, GD&T, and tooling knowledge.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5 years documented CNC machining experience.
• Proficient in CNC setup and operation.

Responsibilities

• Independently program, setup, and operate a cell of 2-3 CNC machines.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings/blueprints.
• Plan tooling and sequence of operations for finish goods.
• Perform 1st piece inspections in QC Lab.
• Adjust programs and offsets as needed.
• Conduct spot checks before piece removal.
• Troubleshoot cutting tool failures and run tool trials.
• Communicate issues to management.
• Maintain safe, efficient, quality production.
