Dauch is hiring a CNC Lathe Operator/Programmer for the Prototype Machining Facility in Warren, Michigan, on 2nd shift (start 4 PM EST) with a differential. This role involves programming, setting up, and operating CNC lathes to produce tooling and prototypes, with emphasis on precision and tight tolerances.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience operating CNC lathes and programming is preferred.
• Experience with precision measurement and inspection is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up and operate CNC lathes producing tooling and prototypes (Mazak, Mazatrol).
• Perform precision tight tolerance work and verify stock and tooling before machining.
• Set offsets with a touch probe, test indicator, or edge finder; check parts with micrometers and calipers.
