Job summary

EPS Corporation is seeking a Senior Machinist with 5–7 years of hands-on machining and CNC programming experience. The role involves setting up, operating, and programming CNC and manual machinery to produce tight-tolerance parts for DoD and commercial projects.

The candidate should read and interpret technical drawings, develop efficient machining strategies, and ensure conformance to AS9100D and MIL-STD quality standards. Strong problem-solving and team collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years machining experience.
• Proficiency reading GD&T, blueprints, CAD models.
• Experience in DoD or AS9100D environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC mills and lathes.
• Create and optimize G-code and toolpaths.
• Perform precision inspections with calipers, micrometers, CMM.
• Select tooling, fixtures, and speeds/feeds for quality and throughput.
• Conduct first article inspections and root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with engineers and inspectors to solve problems.
