Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; technical training in machining or CNC programming is strongly preferred.
• At least five years of experience in CNC programming and machining.
• Demonstrated ability to program, set up, and operate CNC mills and turning centers.
• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, tolerances, and specifications.
• Proficiency with precision inspection tools and measurement equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot programs, setups, tooling, and dimensional issues.

Responsibilities

• Develop, edit, and optimize CNC programs for vertical mills and turning centers.
• Determine machining sequences, tooling, workholding, speeds, feeds, and setup procedures.
• Interpret blueprints and engineering drawings to manufacture parts.
• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and related equipment.
• Select and install cutting tools, fixtures, and programs; design fixtures when needed.
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections and document results.
• Troubleshoot programming and machining issues and implement improvements.
