Job summary

Electroswitch is seeking an experienced Machine Shop Supervisor to lead and coordinate second-shift machining operations at our Rockland facility. This role supervises employees, prioritizes work, supports machine setups, and troubleshoots production issues to meet safety, quality, and productivity standards.

The ideal candidate has leadership experience in a machine shop, strong knowledge of manual machining, and a working understanding of CNC operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise second-shift machine shop employees; plan and assign daily work.
• Coordinate with first-shift supervisor for handoffs and priorities.
• Provide hands-on support with machine setups and troubleshooting.
• Review tooling, setups, and machining processes to improve productivity.
• Maintain safe, organized shop areas and support continuous improvement.
