Job summary

Gerhardt Gear Co. Inc. is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer for lathe and mill operations in a direct-hire role. The position focuses on producing CNC programs, machining strategies and setup instructions to machine parts at various production stages.

Development of fixtures and work-holding design along with required special tooling will be expected. Overtime available as needed. This 4-day, 40-hour weekly schedule runs Monday through Thursday, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, in a fast-paced job shop

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in a job shop programming CNC lathes and mills.
Proficient programming with FANUC and HAAS controls.
High-precision tolerance work, +/- .0005" daily.
Knowledge of lathes and mills and collaboration with setup personnel.
English/Spanish bilingual a plus but not required.
Able to work with minimal supervision.
Eligible to work in the United States.
