Job summary

Gerhardt Gear Co. Inc. is seeking a CNC Lathe and Mill Operator to run production of machined parts while maintaining cycle times and strict quality standards.

The role is a full-time, 4-day, 40-hour per week schedule (Mon–Thu, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm) with overtime as needed. Applicants should have at least two years in a job shop environment operating CNC lathes and mills, be proficient with tool offsets, and familiar with FANUC and Haas controls. Candidates must be able to lift 30 lb.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a JOB SHOP environment operating CNC lathes and mills.
• Ability to change and touch off tools; proficient in tool and machine offsetting.
• Familiar with FANUC and Haas controls.
• Maintain high-quality parts with tolerances of +/- .0005" daily.
• Knowledge of changing tools before wear or breakage.
• Ability to check parts with standard measuring tools.
• Capable of lifting 30 lb. and standing for the shift.
• Bilingual EN/ES is a plus but not required.
• Eligible to work legally in the United States.
