Job summary

WCL Group in Greenville, SC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer IV to generate and optimize CNC programs using NX-CAM for multi-axis operations, with a focus on fast-hole EDM drilling. You will verify programs with Vericut and support shop-floor operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, Associate’s degree, or Machinist Apprentice with 4 years of experience using graphical CAM systems for CNC programming.
• High school diploma with 6 years of experience in CAM CNC programming.

Responsibilities

• Generate and maintain CNC programs utilizing NX-CAM for multi-axis milling, turning, grinding and/or EDM, focused on Fast-hole EDM drilling.
• Verify new CNC programs prior to release on the shop floor using Vericut.
• Provide CNC-related support to Manufacturing Engineering and train operators during new or rebuilt machine startup and process improvements.
• Provide daily operator support with CNC programming and troubleshooting on the shop floor.
• Support tooling and fixturing requirements for CNC machine tools and generate workstation instructions for CNC issues.
• Lead process-improvement projects to enhance safety, quality, cost and delivery.
