Job summary

FORMA-FAB METALS, INC is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to program, load, cycle, and detect malfunctions on NC machines for fabrication of parts. Shift is Monday through Thursday, 6:00 am - 4:30 pm, with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities include planning machining processes, setting up mills and lathes, loading stock, verifying first-run pieces, and maintaining equipment and ERP data. Requires 4–5 years CNC experience and a high school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Plan the machining process by studying orders, blueprints, and tolerances.
• Program mills and lathes with instructions and offsets.
• Set up mills and lathes with chucks, tools, and attachments.
• Load stock and verify positions with first runs and samples.
• Maintain quality by measuring, detecting malfunctions, and adjusting controls.
• Ensure safe operations and perform preventive maintenance.
• Document actions and communicate needs across shifts.
• Input and maintain data in ERP system.
