Job summary

IMI plc in Farmington, CT is seeking a Senior CNC Programmer to develop and optimize CNC turning and milling programs for plastic and metal components. You will design fixtures, select tooling, review drawings for manufacturability, and mentor junior programmers in GD&T and best practices.

Qualifications

• Strong machining background and experience in turning and milling.
• Read blueprints and GD&T with precision.

Responsibilities

• Generate CNC programs for turning and milling
• Design fixtures and tooling
• Review drawings for manufacturability
• Update CNC programs with drawing changes
• Select tooling and create setup/inspection sheets
• Mentor and train new CNC programmers
