Job summary
GPAC is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join a stable manufacturing company in Michigan. You will interpret drawings and program sheets to determine work, perform turning and milling operations, and run programming, setup, and changeover. Requires 5+ years as a machine operator and 3+ years CNC CAM programming, with Master CAM preferred.
Okuma/DMG experience and Vericut are valuable. Excellent attendance and reliability are essential.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of machine operator experience (conventional and/or CNC).
- Minimum 3+ years of CNC CAM programming.
- Master CAM programming preferred.
- HS diploma or equivalent, US work authorization.
Responsibilities
- Interpret drawings, program sheets, and instructions to determine work.
- Conduct turning, milling, drilling, boring or related operations to tolerances.
- Run programming, setup, and changeover.
- Perform inspection/gaging to ensure quality standards.
- Measure workpieces for conformance to specifications.
- Clean machine, tooling, and parts.
- Run multiple machines simultaneously when possible.
