Job summary

gpac is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join a stable, growing manufacturing company in Waterford Charter Township, Michigan. You will interpret complex drawings and instructions, program and set up turning, milling, and drilling operations to tight tolerances.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years as a machine operator and 3+ years CNC CAM programming, with Master CAM preferred. Okuma lathe and DMG machining centers experience is a plus. Benefits and long-term stability are offered.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years as machine operator (conventional) and/or CNC.
Minimum 3 years CNC CAM programming.
Master CAM programming experience preferred.
Excellent attendance record.
Must be eligible to work in the United States without restriction.

Run programming, setup, and change over.
Perform a variety of inspection and gaging operations to insure maintenance of quality standards and specifications.
Measure workpieces for conformance to specifications.
Clean machine, tooling, and parts.
Run multiple machines simultaneously where possible.

What We're Looking For
