Qualifications

• 5–7 years of hands-on machining experience including setup and operation of CNC lathes & mills.
• 2–4 years of CNC programming experience.
• Proficiency with CAM software (Autodesk Fusion) for programming.
• Knowledge of G-code and M-code for machine control.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Translate 3D CAD models and drawings into CNC programs using CAM software.
• Create/modify CNC programs for milling, turning, and other operations.
• Optimize tool paths and machining strategies to meet specs.
• Collaborate with machinists and engineers to troubleshoot processes.
• Interpret drawings to select tools, speeds, and feeds.
• Operate and maintain CNC machines to meet programmed specs.
• Document programs and store on media; prepare first-piece inspections.
