Job summary

Ethos in Iowa City is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to create and modify CNC programs using CAD/CAM software, and to review detailed technical drawings. You will program, inspect, set up, and operate machines as needed, and define tooling solutions with proper feeds and speeds.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of proven machining experience, strong capability with GD&T, and hands-on ability to read drawings and work instructions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of proven machining experience with complex parts.
• Proficient in CNC programming and GD&T reading.
• Experience with CAD/CAM workflows and shop floor setups.

Responsibilities

• Must be 100% hands and driven to succeed through perseverance and determination.
• Ability to take a 3D model and plug it into CAD/CAM software to make things run.
• Strong CNC experience working within a job shop, who is able to come in and hit the ground running.
