Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong CNC programming experience required.
• Ability to read blueprints and CAD drawings.
• Experience with Mastercam or similar CAM software preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Know-how of various machining materials and processes.
• Strong math skills including trig and geometry.
• Experience with multi-axis machining preferred.
• SolidWorks CSWA certification preferred.
• Metallurgy and foundry tooling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers to improve tooling designs and processes.
• Use Mastercam to generate G-code for CNC operations.
• Design work-holding fixtures or select solutions.
• Build and maintain the tool library database.
• Set speeds and feeds to maximize efficiency and quality.
• Interpret blueprints and CAD models to support machining.
• Set up and calibrate CNC machines for runs.
• Operate CNC equipment to produce precision components.
• Perform in-process inspections with calipers and micrometers.
• Maintain a safe, organized work environment and support continuous improvement.
• Mentor Tooling Center machinists and share knowledge.
