Job summary

Verto People Ltd is partnering with an established Hanover, PA manufacturer to recruit a skilled CNC Programmer focused on aerospace and precision components.

You will develop, test, and optimize CNC programs for lathes, mills, and grinders, work from engineering drawings, use CAD/CAM tools, and collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to achieve tight tolerances and high-quality parts in a temperature-controlled environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of CNC programming or related precision manufacturing experience.
• Experience with CNC lathes, milling machines, grinders or similar equipment.
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software and CNC programming.
• Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and specs.
• Knowledge of CNC machine controls and offset adjustments.
• Experience with SPC and quality control.
• US Person requirements under ITAR/export control regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, write, test and optimise CNC programs for precision machining.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints and specs.
• Use CAD/CAM software to develop programs and toolpaths.
• Program and support CNC lathes, mills and grinders.
• Select cutting tools and machining parameters for materials.
• Troubleshoot programming and production issues.
• Collaborate with engineers and quality to maintain standards.
• Ensure safety and aerospace manufacturing requirements.
