Job summary

Job Juncture is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer for an aerospace manufacturing client in New York. The role focuses on developing, testing, and optimizing CNC machining programs to produce precision components for high-demand applications.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to ensure efficient processes, robust tooling strategies, and continuous improvement, while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of CNC programming experience.
  • Associate's Degree preferred (Engineering or Manufacturing Technology).
  • Strong experience programming CNC milling machines.
  • Proficiency with CAD software and CNC programming.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
  • Lean Manufacturing knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Create and optimize CNC programs for milling operations.
  • Program custom components and tooling for production applications.
  • Develop machining methods and tooling strategies.
  • Set up and support CNC milling machines during production.
  • Test, troubleshoot, and validate CNC programs on production equipment.
  • Modify programs to reflect engineering changes and product revisions.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve machining efficiency.
  • Maintain programming documentation and revision control.
  • Support process improvements to reduce cycle times and improve quality.
  • Ensure all programs meet safety, quality, and customer requirements.

Position Summary

The CNC Programmer will develop, test, and optimize CNC machining programs used to manufacture precision components.
