Qualifications

• Two or more years of CNC programming experience.
• Experience programming 3-axis and 5-axis CNC machining centers.
• PowerMill experience highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and cutting parameters.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Create and optimize CNC programs for complex 3-axis and 5-axis machining operations using PowerMill CAM software.
• Develop efficient machining strategies that maximize productivity while maintaining quality.
• Analyze engineering drawings, GD&T, models, and customer specifications.
• Select tooling, workholding, cutting strategies, and machining parameters.
• Collaborate with machinists, operators, engineers, and manufacturing teams to improve processes and reduce cycle times.
• Troubleshoot machining challenges and continuously improve existing programs.
• Support new product launches and prototype development.
• Mentor programmers and machinists by sharing programming knowledge and best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement in machining efficiency, quality, and productivity.
