Job summary

Boom Supersonic is seeking a CNC Programmer who will craft complex 5-axis CAM programs for Superpower IGT components. You will work primarily in Hypermill, performing 5-axis, mill-turn, and 3+2 operations, and you will verify programs in simulation before they reach the machine.

You will collaborate with the Applications Engineer to refine toolpaths and process specs, and you will help shape the CAM framework, templates, and tooling libraries.

Qualifications

• CNC programming experience with CAM system depth.
• 5-axis simultaneous programming experience or strong geometry reasoning.
• Ability to read G-code output and identify post issues without running the machine.
• Documentation discipline to create setup sheets machinists can run without help.

Responsibilities

• CAM programming in Hypermill for Superpower IGT components — 5-axis, mill-turn, 3+2.
• Simulation verification before any program reaches the machine.
• Setup documentation that is complete for someone else to run the job.
