Job summary

Impulse Space is seeking a CNC Programmer in Boulder County to advance 5-axis machining and programming. You will develop and optimize complex programs, collaborate with engineering and operations, and contribute to efficient, high‑quality part production.

Candidate should have strong experience in CAM packages (hyperMILL, NX, ESPRIT) and a history of working with 5-axis mills and lathes. This role offers exposure to cutting-edge aerospace manufacturing and rigorous process improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years CNC programming experience using CAM packages (hyperMILL, NX, Mastercam, ESPRIT).
• 4+ years programming and machining 5-axis mills or mill-turns.
• Experience on manual and CNC mills/lathes.
• Quickly learns new CAM software and manages large tool libraries.

Responsibilities

• Deliver parts rapidly in a fast-paced environment for engine, vehicle, avionics, and test development.
• Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot 5-axis CNC programs, primarily with hyperMILL.
• Work with CAD/CAM software and learn new tools quickly.
• Produce hardware on machines and with Siemens, Mazatrol, Haas NGC systems.
• Manage digital tool libraries and tool magazines for throughput.
