Advantest in Chandler, AZ, invites an experienced CNC/Machining leader to drive precision manufacturing in our new 200,000 sq ft facility. You will set up and optimize machining processes, lead a shift, ensure safety, and maintain quality documentation while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Ideal candidates bring a bachelor’s degree, 10 years of CNC experience, and strong SolidWorks and CAD CAM skills to support automation and continuous improvement initiatives at Advantest.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 10 years of CNC/Machine Shop experience.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks.
• 1 year CAD CAM experience.

Responsibilities

• Champion safety as the number one priority across shifts and enforce safe work practices.
• Set up, operate, and control manufacturing processes to ensure consistency and standards.
• Run production per the schedule, adhering to QMS and documented procedures.
• Maintain product quality by following inspection plans and records.
• Manage information flow in the cell to maximize utilization and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve process, equipment, and quality issues; perform basic root cause analysis.
• Analyze pallet counts, tooling, and automation for both manned and unmanned operations.
• Provide day-to-day direction and training to operators and new employees.
• Protect source code integrity and align with customer requirements.
