Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 10 years of CNC/Machine Shop experience.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks.
• 1 year CAD CAM experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and control manufacturing processes for all products produced on assigned equipment, ensuring consistency, repeatability, and adherence to established standards across all scheduled shifts.
• Execute and monitor the production plan in alignment with the manufacturing schedule, ensuring all work is performed in accordance with QMS requirements, work instructions, and documented procedures.
• Maintain full responsibility for product quality by following inspection plans, verifying conformance to specifications, and ensuring all required quality documentation and records are accurate, complete, and up to date.
• Manage and maintain effective information flow within the cell to support acceptable quality levels, maximize spindle and machine utilization, and ensure preventative maintenance activities are current.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor to semi-complex process, equipment, and quality issues. Perform basic root cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and escape issues or engage additional resources as needed.
• Analyze pallet counts, sister tooling, and automation requirements to support both manned and unmanned operations, ensuring the cell can meet scheduled production demands and sustain round-the-clock operation.
• Provide day-to-day direction and leadership to machine operators and newly assigned employees, including on-the-job training, mentoring, and reinforcement of standard work and best practices.
• Evaluate, maintain, and protect source code integrity for all assigned projects, ensuring program accuracy, version control, and alignment with approved processes and customer requirements.
