Job summary

Advantest America Inc. in Chandler, AZ, is seeking an experienced CNC machinist to set up and operate 5-axis machines for high-mix, low-volume production. You will prove out programs, troubleshoot CAM and machine issues, and ensure quality per inspection plans.

The ideal candidate has 10–20 years of CNC/Mill experience, reads blueprints in English, and can work overtime. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and annual bonuses.

Qualifications

• 10–20 years CNC/Mill experience; 5 axis a plus.
• Experience with grinders, lathes, EDM and waterjet is a bonus.
• Read blueprints and customer drawings in English; interpret SOPs.
• Troubleshoot CAM, PostP, programmer, and machine issues.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Set-up Hermle, Matsuura, and Mikron 5 axis machines for multi-job runs.
• Prove out programs, troubleshoot and debug as needed.
• Operate and control processes for high mix low volume production.
• Ensure compliance with manufacturing and automation processes.
• Maintain quality records per Inspection Plan.
• Perform daily preventive maintenance and supply needs.
• Analyze root causes for complex issues and implement solutions.
• Establish pallet quantities per job for optimal automation output.
