Job summary

PDS Tech Commercial partners with a global energy industry leader to hire an experienced CNC Programmer (Manufacturing Engineer IV) for onsite Bangor, ME. You will develop, optimize, and validate complex CNC programs for mission-critical energy components using top CAM tools.

The role emphasizes hands-on programming, process improvement, and collaboration across engineering and production teams in a state-of-the-art facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent manufacturing experience required.
• Hands-on CNC programming in a production environment required.
• Proficiency with Mastercam and VERICUT is essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize CNC programs for multi‑axis milling, turning, and grinding.
• Verify CNC programs using VERICUT before production release.
• Provide daily programming support to shop floor operators and troubleshoot issues.
• Lead tooling, fixture, and process improvement initiatives in a large-scale facility.
