Job summary

Insync Staffing Inc. seeks an experienced CNC Programmer for its Wilmington, MA shop. The role involves programming, setup, and machining of prototype and production parts on Okuma milling equipment in a hands-on environment.

Work with Engineering to optimize fixtures, tooling, and tolerances; perform first-piece inspections and maintain setup sheets. Temp-to-Hire with potential direct hire.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CNC machining experience including programming, setup, and operation.
• Proficiency in CAM software and CAD tools used in the job.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T with proper tooling selection.

Responsibilities

• Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs for prototype and production parts.
• Perform machine setup and operation of Okuma milling equipment.
• Select tooling, workholding, and machining parameters to meet targets.
• Support fixture design and implementation for new and existing products.
• Collaborate with Engineering on tolerances, materials, and manufacturability.
• Troubleshoot issues; create setup sheets and process records.
• Inspect parts with calipers, micrometers, and 3D measurement tools.
