SureHire Recruiting LLC is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to independently program, set up, prove out, and troubleshoot milling jobs, collaborating with production, quality, engineering, and maintenance teams.

The role requires selecting tooling, creating programs with Tebis, PowerMill, Siemens NX CAM, and Mastercam, and ensuring first-piece inspection and in-process checks for 3- and 5-axis machining, on-site in Michigan.

Competenze

• 8+ years of CNC programming, setup, and milling experience in a precision manufacturing environment.
• High school diploma or GED required; additional CNC education or CAD/CAM training preferred.
• Experience with Tebis, PowerMill, Siemens NX CAM, Mastercam or comparable CAM software.
• Hands-on CNC mill experience with multiple brands of equipment.
• Knowledge of CNC controllers (Heidenhain, Fanuc, Mazak/Mazatrol, Siemens, Haas).
• Strong knowledge of tooling, feeds/speeds, workholding, and machining strategies.

Mansioni

• Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs using CAM software.
• Select tooling, holders, workholding, feeds, speeds, and strategies.
• Independently set up, prove out, and complete CNC milling jobs.
• Program and support roughing, finishing, drilling, contouring, pocketing, and 3- or 5-axis operations.
• Operate and monitor multiple CNC machines as workload allows.
• Troubleshoot programming, tooling, fixtures, and quality issues; escalate as needed.
• Read blueprints, CAD models, GD&T, and inspection requirements.
• Document time, setups, changes, tooling, and inspection activity daily.
• Train and support others on CNC operation, setup, quality, safety, and troubleshooting.
• Follow all company policies, PPE, lockout/tagout, and safety standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
