Job summary

Allied Mechanical in Ontario, CA is seeking a CNC Programmer to plan and program machining sequences for precision components from 12" to over 100". Work includes 3, 4 and 5 axis milling and turning on Okuma equipment, developing efficient tool paths and optimizing cycle times with shop personnel.

The role requires 3–5 years in precision machining, strong G-code and CAD/CAM skills (Mastercam, NX, SolidWorks CAM or Vericut), and adherence to AS9100/ITAR requirements.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in precision machined components industry, preferably job shop.
• Proficient in G-code and macro programming; strong tooling, fixtures, and fixturing knowledge.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software to generate toolpaths and verify programs.

Responsibilities

• Create CNC programs for 3-, 4-, and multi-axis milling/turning of aerospace/defense parts.
• Use CAD/CAM to generate toolpaths, select cutting tools, and verify programs before release.
• Develop setup sheets, tool lists and machining instructions for machinists and setup technicians.
