Qualifications

• Hands-on CNC machining experience required.
• At least three years in a CNC manufacturing or machine-shop environment.
• One to two years of supervisory or team-leadership experience.
• Three+ years of hands-on CNC machining experience.
• Direct experience with Swiss-style CNC machining.
• Experience in aerospace and/or medical manufacturing.
• Understand quality, traceability, documentation and compliance requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and motivate shop-floor employees to maintain performance and morale.
• Establish daily production priorities and communicate expectations clearly.
• Assign work, monitor progress, and adjust staffing or resources as needed.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and support to employees.
• Promote accountability, collaboration, and respectful communication.
• Coordinate daily production activities to maintain material, equipment, and personnel flow.
• Monitor schedules and adjust to delays, machine availability, or priorities.
• Ensure safety, accuracy, and on-time completion of production requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments to meet customer delivery commitments.
• Maintain quality documentation, traceability, and process controls.
• Lead 5S activities and maintain an organized, clean, and safe workplace.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and address equipment concerns promptly.
• Train employees on procedures, safety, quality standards, and machinery operation.
• Identify skill gaps and develop training or development plans.
• Oversee material handling, inventory control, and shop-floor storage.
• Track production output, efficiency, downtime, and employee performance.
• Prepare and present operational reports to management.
• Lead continuous-improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve throughput.
