Job summary

You will operate CNC mills and lathes, set up per MO requirements, read blueprints, and ensure parts meet exact specifications at production pace.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with CNC Level 1/2 requirements.
• Ability to operate CNC mills and lathes.
• Knowledge of M & G codes and blueprint reading.
• Strong math skills and precision.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC mills and lathes.
• Set up equipment per MO requirements using blueprints and specs.
• Change tool inserts to maintain part specs and monitor wear.
• Enter work orders into Maintenance system after training.
• Configure CNC by setting zero/reference points, tool registers, offsets, and prove part programs.
• Load machines with work pieces and verify settings via measurements.
• Meet production goals for cycle time, quantity, and quality.
• Collaborate with higher level CNC associates to troubleshoot and produce new products.
• Guide lower CNC levels on higher-skilled tasks.
• Ensure safety, tool availability, and machine uptime to meet schedule.
• Perform basic service checks including coolant and oil checks.
