Job summary

Tecomet is seeking a CNC Machinist III in Massachusetts to operate, set up, and possibly program CNC mills, lathes, and wire EDMs. You will read blueprints, maintain quality records, and work under continuous improvement standards.

The role requires strong measurement skills and safety compliance, with opportunities to support engineering and tooling improvements. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of CNC machining experience and preferably an associate degree or Machinist apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• Operates and sets up CNC machines to meet drawings and tolerances.
• Reads blueprints and specifications to determine setup and QA criteria.
• Maintains quality records and adheres to GMP/GDP principles where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and could program CNC mills, lathes, and wire EDM within tolerances.
• Propose new setups and adjust offsets/tooling.
• Perform complex machining with close tolerances and read blueprints.
