Job summary

Tecomet in Malden, MA seeks a CNC Machinist III to operate, set up, and possibly program CNC mills, Wire EDMs, and lathes. You will ensure parts meet drawings and quality standards while driving productivity and continuous improvement.

The role requires 5+ years in CNC machining, strong blueprint reading, and safe, efficient production practices in a fast-paced environment. On-site position in Massachusetts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or apprenticeship preferred.
• 5+ years CNC machining experience; capable of basic programming with supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and may program CNC mills, Wire EDMs, and CNC lathes within tolerances.
• Propose new setups and offsets/tools for efficiency.
• Perform complex machining with close tolerances and inspect parts per drawings.
• Read blueprints/specifications and evaluate processes.
• Troubleshoot CNC programs and processes; document instructions.
• Maintain quality via OOQ standards and use measuring equipment.
• Suggest speeds/feeds and perform routine PM checks.
• Support continuous improvement and 5S housekeeping.
