Job summary

ART CNC Machining LLC in Bridgeview, Illinois is seeking an experienced CNC mill machinist who can independently program, set up, and operate milling machines to produce precision parts from blueprint to finish.

You will create and modify tool paths using Mastercam, set up fixtures, offsets, speeds, and feeds, read blueprints and GD&T, inspect parts with micrometers and calipers, and troubleshoot programs, tooling, and machining issues to maintain quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years CNC milling set up in programming experience.
• Experience with Fanuc or similar CNC controls.
• Ability to take a part independently from blueprint to finish product.
• Strong knowledge of tooling, Machining methods, speeds, and feeds.
• Excellent blueprint, reading and precision measuring skills.
• Machine shop or manufacturing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate milling machines.
