Job summary

C & S Machine and Manufacturing Corporation in Kentucky seeks a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to own CNC manufacturing processes across the product lifecycle. You will lead engineering, tooling, workholding, and automation initiatives, and drive significant new-part launches through manufacturability reviews to stable production.

The role demands hands-on CNC expertise, Lean problem solving, and strong project leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field is considered.
8+ years of CNC machining, programming, manufacturing engineering, or process-development experience preferred.
Strong understanding of GD&T, dimensional inspection, and tolerance management.

Responsibilities

Own the technical manufacturing process for production throughout the product lifecycle, from process definition through sustained production.
Develop and maintain manufacturing methods for parts from various raw materials.
Control CNC programs, setup docs, tool lists, fixtures, and process drawings.
Convert tribal knowledge into engineered standards and repeatable processes.
Establish engineering change processes for significant modifications and verify before full production release.
Partner with Quality to define controls and validation methods.
