Job summary

Premier Precision Machining PA, LLC is seeking an experienced professional to design, program, and optimize CNC machining processes on mills and lathes. You will develop CAD/CAM part programs, support setups, and lead cost analyses while collaborating across departments.

Required: 5+ years of hands-on machining, an associate degree or higher, and strong problem-solving and communication skills. The role emphasizes process improvement and training for rollout of new systems.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on machining experience.
• Strong technical and computer proficiency; effective oral communication.
• Collaborative working style across departments; problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, debug, document, and implement new manufacturing programs/technologies.
• Create CNC part programs for lathes and mills; support setup, debugging, and optimization.
• Produce internal drawings in CAD for tooling and operations.
• Establish time standards and conduct machine time studies.
• Develop methods to improve throughput and utilization.
• Coordinate reviews, sign-offs, and procedural updates for new programs.
• Lead implementation and training for program/system rollouts.
• Prepare cost analyses and work with Accounting on tracking.
