Job summary

Tiffany & Co. is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist II in Rhode Island to set up and operate CNC lathe and vertical mill machines, handling 5/4/3 axis work with precision. You will monitor tool wear, verify against blueprints, and ensure production quotas are met while maintaining clean, safe work areas.

Candidate must have 8+ years in CNC machining, strong English communication, and the ability to train others. Overtime may be required as production demands rise.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of machining experience on CNC equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail and teamwork.
• Ability to read blueprints and work instructions.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to work overtime as scheduled.
• Demonstrated ability to lead/train CNC operators I & II.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Lathe and CNC Vertical Mill incl. 5, 4 and 3 axis milling machines.
• Changeover products with fixtures, stops, datum offsets and indicators; monitor wear and tool life.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area and coolant systems; ensure lubrication and refractometer checks.
• Review work orders for correctness; meet or exceed production quotas.
• Apply critical thinking to design solutions for complex issues.
• Cross-train and mentor machining staff to ensure continuity.
• Troubleshoot maintenance issues; consult with programmer when needed.
• Determine tool offsets, use MDI, assist edits to programs; respond to machine alarms.
