Job summary

Bird-Johnson in New Hampshire is seeking a Maintenance Lead to guide our production maintenance crew. This hands-on role focuses on safe, efficient task completion, troubleshooting CNC equipment, and supporting production needs.

You will coach technicians on CNC troubleshooting, lead preventive maintenance, and drive Lean, TPM, and 5S initiatives while ensuring compliance with OSHA and internal standards. A strong communicator, you will collaborate with engineering and operations to improve

Qualifications

• Must have CNC troubleshooting experience in a production setting.
• Experience with Siemens Advanced Controls training.
• Strong safety compliance and OSHA NFPA 70E familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily maintenance tasks and coordinate preventive maintenance.
• Provide technical coaching to maintenance technicians on CNC troubleshooting.
• Drive Lean, TPM, and 5S programs within the maintenance department.
• Perform root cause analysis on recurring failures and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee CNC controls troubleshooting on Siemens and FANUC systems.
• Maintain maintenance documentation and safety inspections.
